I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My advisor is Heng Ji and I am a member of the Blender Lab.

My primary interests are in vision and language (multimedia). In general, I am interested in developing intelligent systems that can perceive the real world through vision and effectively communicate through natural language.

I received my M.S. in Computer Science as well as my B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
