I am a Research Scientist at Scale AI. Previously, I was a postdoc in FAIR at Meta AI with Marcus Rohrbach. I received my PhD in Computer Science from UIUC, advised by Heng Ji.

My interests include computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of these areas: multimodal deep learning. More broadly, I am interested in developing intelligent systems that can perceive their environment, reason about incoming information, communicate their understanding, and act reliably.
